Spectrum Management, 5G and Emissions – Challenges and Opportunities under the EECC
IIC EUROPE CHAPTER EVENT
november 2019, Brussels
hosted by
Squire patton Boggs
As we reflect upon its first 50 years, the IIC has always provided an important platform to compare and discuss policy approaches to communications and content in countries around the world. We wanted to go one step further and make good use of our national chapters to ‘compare notes’ and share perspectives, ideas and future-looking suggestions. The Europe Chapter is an initiative of the three IIC chapters based in Europe - Brussels, Italy and the UK – that have joined forces to discuss key issues arising from the transposition and implementation of the new EU Electronic Communications Code (EECC). A report on the first of these meetings which took place earlier this year in Rome can be found here.
This second meeting of the IIC Europe Chapter, which was presented in the format of a workshop, included speakers from the European Commission, Vodafone, RSPG and BIPT.
